What is an automation?
Short answer: An automation starts when something happens in an application (for example a CRM deal is won), checks your conditions, then does its steps: notify people, add an action or ask for an approval. Organization owners and administrators create them in Automations; nothing runs until an automation is published.

When to use this
You want PVology to react to an event without someone remembering to do it, for example tell the project managers when a customer gives a low satisfaction score, or ask an administrator whether to start the delivery project when a deal is won.
