Problem, opportunity or improvement case: what is the difference?
Short answer: An opportunity is an idea or signal that something could be better; it is rated and triaged. A problem is something going wrong now (observed against expected), analyzed before any solution. An improvement case is the work that changes something: a quick win, an improvement case or a CAPA.
