How to generate a report from a register

Short answer: Open any register (for example Risk or a project's Risks) and choose Generate report. Choose the records (current filtered view, all records you can see, or selected records), the title, columns and format (PDF, Word or Excel), then Generate report.

Steps

  1. Open the register and filter it if you want (for example Status: Open).
  2. Choose Generate report. The page shows each scope with its record count; the current filter is never ignored silently.
  3. Check the title, report date, confidentiality, notes, columns (recommended ones are ticked), sort and grouping.
  4. Choose PDF, Word or Excel and Generate report.
