How to explore the sample value study

Short answer: When Value is empty choose Explore sample data. It adds sample opportunities and a complete study, Customer Water-Leak Response, that shows every phase from charter to realized value. Sample records are marked SAMPLE and never count toward your totals.

Steps

  1. Open Value. If it is empty, choose Explore sample data.
  2. Open Studies and choose Customer Water-Leak Response.
  3. Walk through the phases: the charter and team, functions and the FAST diagram, ideas and scores, proposals with life-cycle cost, decisions and the realization ledger.
  4. To remove the samples, use Preferences → Sample data.
