Short answer: Home shows what needs your attention, your applications, recent changes and records to continue. Choose Customize Home to reorder, hide sections or change density for the current workspace, or reset it to the default.

Requires your attention: approvals, replies, overdue items and account actions waiting for you. It is always shown.
Your applications: applications you can use now, with their current figures.
Recent changes: what changed recently in this workspace. Choose 10, 25, 50 or 100 to show more.
Continue working: records you were working on.
