Short answer: PVology reviews every new organization before it becomes active, to protect organization identity, data access and membership integrity. Your request shows Submitted, Under review, More information needed, Approved, Not approved or Existing organization in Organization → Your requests.

Why:
An organization controls who can see its data. Reviewing new organizations prevents duplicates and organizations created in someone else's name.
