How to test a connection

Short answer: Open the connection and choose Test connection. It checks reachability, authentication, the required permissions and a basic capability, and shows each check as Passed, Failed or Not checked. No business data is read into PVology or changed anywhere.

After adding or rotating a credential, changing the address, environment, direction or source of truth, or when health shows a failed test.
